CONSIDERATIONS FOR ATTENDEES

PTA is not responsible for lost or stolen items. There is no secure place to store personal items in the conference space. Be sure to keep all valuables in your possession. Fire Marshal restrictions require all carts and tote bags to be placed under chairs in the conference space. Aisles must be clear of all objects. 

STATEMENT OF UNDERSTANDING FOR ATTENDEES

By registering, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth for the California State PTA 2024 Legislation Conference in Sacramento. Attendee registration is transferable. Payments for transfers must be handled between you and your replacement and your unit/council/district PTA president. There are no refunds for State PTA Registration and Event Fees.

COVID-19 POLICY – adopted September 2023

All attendees at California State PTA events shall observe CDC, CDPH, and local health department guidance on infectious diseases. Attendees are encouraged to conduct a health self-evaluation before attending the meeting and should refrain from attending if they have any symptoms of illness. Masks/face coverings are strongly recommended in areas with less than six feet of distance, such as meetings and workshops. This policy expires June 30, 2025.”

PHOTOGRAPHY AND AUDIO RELEASE

By registering for or attending the California State PTA 2024 Legislation Conference you hereby grant and assign the California State PTA and its legal representatives the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish for editorial, trade, advertising, or any other purpose and in any manner and medium, including website and internet promotion, all photographic, audio, video, and digital images of you and your guests took while in attendance at the California State PTA 2024 Legislation Conference. By registering for or attending the California State PTA 2024 Legislation Conference you hereby release the California State PTA and its legal representatives from all claims and liability relating to said photographs, audio, video, and digital images.

MINOR STUDENTS PARENTAL CONSENT FORM

Students younger than 18 years of age must email a signed Parent/Guardian Approval and Consent to Treatment Form signed by a parent(s) or guardian(s) on or before January 17, 2024, to legislation@capta.org. Download the form in English.
