2025-2026 NATIONAL PTA REFLECTIONS THEME SEARCH FINALISTS
Congratulations to the five California student finalists listed below for their state-level winning entries in the 2025-26 PTA Reflections theme search. The California finalists’ themes will advance to the National PTA Reflections level for consideration. The five Reflections themes chosen to be considered by National PTA for the 2025-26 year are:
- “Dream It, Create It!” from Hayk Mkrtchyanm, Grade 3, Joaquin Miller Elementary PTA, First District PTA
- “Set your heart ablaze!” from Alvin Phan, Grade 10, Woodrow Wilson High School PTSA, Thirty-Third District PTA
- “Moments That Matter” from Coralie Foucher, Grade 10, Santa Monica High School Parent Teacher Association, Inc., Thirty-Third District PTA
- “Kindness Counts” from Hayden Lawrence, Grade 6, Redwood Middle School PTSA,Twelfth District PTA
- “Life Is Beautiful Because…” from Gia Anika Manickkam, Grade 2, Oliveira Elementary PTA, Peralta District PTA

2026-2027 NATIONAL PTA REFLECTIONS THEME SEARCH
The 2026-2027 theme search is now open! California State PTA will submit five student-created themes to National PTA for review and consideration.

The theme selected by National PTA for 2023-2024 is “I am Hopeful Because…”, which was submitted by Alice Meko, from Hampton Cove Elementary School PTA in Alabama.
Please review themes from previous years before submitting a theme for 2025-2026, as past themes will not be considered for future submission. |
