ABOUT THE CALIFORNIA STATE PTA LEGISLATION ACTION COMMITTEE
California State PTA Legislation Action Committee (LAC) meets during the legislative session and takes action on pending state and federal legislation based on PTA’s priorities and adopted authorities. The LAC is composed of the Director of Legislation, the State PTA President and President-Elect, the Leg Team, focus area VPs for Education, Family Engagement, and Health & Community Concerns, plus Leg Reps from each of the focus areas, and two district presidents.
