The California Department of Education and the National Equity Project are co-hosting a webinar on Thursday to allow middle school and high school age students from across the state to talk about how they are processing the unrest surrounding the death of George Floyd. They will also discuss practical solutions to institutional racism and implicit bias in public schools.
State Superintendent Tony Thurmond and California Surgeon General Nadine Burke Harris will both be leading the discussion.
