SACRAMENTO – California State PTA President Dianna MacDonald issued the following statement regarding the recent tragedies in California:
“From senseless acts of violence to raging wildfires, California families once again have suffered the unthinkable.
“There aren’t words to describe the deep impact and devastation these tragedies have caused in our state — to our families, our friends, our neighbors and our communities.
“PTA has long stood beside those in need and those without a voice, and today is no different. We encourage you to do what you can to support all children and families in California. Visit the American Red Cross, Salvation Army or California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund for more information on where to send your financial gift, or to find a local blood drive to help victims.”
