SACRAMENTO – California State PTA President Dianna MacDonald issued the following statement:
“It is with great sadness that we hear of another school shooting in one of our schools. California State PTA believes that every child is entitled to a safe and peaceful school environment that is orderly and empowering.
“School should be a place in which students and staff are free to learn and teach without the threat of physical and psychological harm. Our thoughts go out to the families impacted by this horrific event.”
