Report: Student Engagement in Year One of LCFF

StudentVoiceReport

The 2013-2014 school year was a historic turning point for students across California. The passage of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) created a more equitable funding system that prioritized students’ needs and directed greater resources specifically for students from low-income families, English learners and students in foster care.

California State PTA partnered with the Californians for Justice, and several other organizations including the Education Trust-West and the California Teachers Association to launch the Student Voice Campaign in April 2014.
